Just loved this trip around the world. People revealed their intimate views and sometimes their intimate lives.

Thank you so much for having created such group! At first it helped me a lot during Covid pandemic to feel less isolated some days. After that it became almost an habit each day to look at new amazing landscapes et stories. Because what was the most incredible finally were not the views themselves but the people and stories behind them. Thank you to all members for having shared some part of you!
Thank you for letting us see the view from your window.
I joined very early on when my friend Wendy invited me. It was still March 2020. I had my view posted in April. I’ve loved watching this movement grow and being a part of it. It’s astonishing what this Cabo idea has done to bring the whole world together. Thank you, Barbara, for your idea and what turned out to be a mammoth undertaking. I have the first book, and plan to get the pdf. You really deserve this rest, though I will miss the views and stories of so many different lives and places. God speed on your next journey.
This site has been a complete inspiration and perfect place to view, enjoy, record, and muse over the amazing diversity in the world- it helped me through the lockdown and it should never be forgotten and be part of a our history. Thank you vfmw 🌅
Days before the borders shut in Australia for 9 months, I moved 2,000 km to start a new life from the bottom. I enjoyed viewing all the places around the world as it gave me a sense of normalcy, in an uncertain time
VFMW - a welcomed ‘window on the world’ at a time when everything felt so
far away as we sat in isolation in 2020.
It became a part of everyday ‘life’ to see others’ window views & feel humanly connected around the globe into 2021 & beyond ….
Grateful thanks for so many marvellous moments that matter : human connection.
It’s been a pleasure seeing all the lovely views from windows of the world. Thank you! I will miss it.
I was lucky and found this site quite early in the makings. My photo from my small garden got through the loop hole. The most intriguing, for me, were the stories behind the photos. The whys, where’s and history of peoples lives. Thank you to so many who gave their contributions, much appreciated. I had a Christmas wish for the first book, didn’t get it so now I have ordered the two of them. Thank you to the makers and your hard work. Looking forward to receiving the books and using hours “travelling” the world.
Thank you for this amazing group! Two weeks before the lockdown my husband had stage four cancer surgery. We were going thru so much. This group brought me such joy. God bless you all!
Thank you for creating this group. It was such an enjoyable escape from reality in those hard years
I was a member for such a short time but this page was a refreshing breath of fresh air, it reminds people of the important things in life like connecting with others and appreciating the small things... It was a simple idea that someone had and it turned into a community.
This page kept me alive and connected during these very strange years. A special thanks to Barbara for starting it and keeping it up, and also to everyone all over the world who shared their views and stories. We are still connected.
Just the best fb group. Seeing the views that ordinary citizens see and having lovely comments from all round the world - delightful 😊 thank you admin for a brilliant idea and very hard work
Sad to see you go! ✨🧡
It was so wonderful to see the world around us through each and every view submitted!! So sad to see it finish. Wishing you all the best for the future.
Thank you for bringing beauty, connection and stories to people all over the world. It made the pandemic more tolerable and I learned so much about so many places that I hope to visit one day. We are one world. Vashon Island Washington state USA
I never did a personal post, but I did love seeing the wonderful windows around the world, each day on my Facebook stream.
