I enjoyed seeing and learning about different parts of the world through looking at others views from their windows. I posted a view when I lived in Florida when Covid just started and loved seeing the responses from others.

I started off each day traveling the world from my armchair. I never met a view I didn't appreciate, and learned so much of culture and country. Thank you for your magnificent efforts to bring the world together during this challenging times. Forever grateful!

Thank you very allowing me to go on this wonderful journey with everyone over the past three years. I love to travel and felt like I was getting to during the lock down. Our world is beautiful no matter where you are! I even had a picture of my back yard make the cut. Now, here’s to seeing all these places in person!

I remember when I first say this page in April 2020. It was the beginning of the US Shutdown when we were scared and felt alone. A picture of someone’s street with a milk cart going by halfway around the world made me feel like we would survive. Thank you.

I have enjoyed this site immensly; nothing else on FB ever even came close. I feel privileged to have been a part of this global community. It honestly made my day to see a beautiful garden, or a mountain view, or a porch with potted plants, or a backyard or a front yard or a street view - as if I were there...Thank you for giving us this experience of bringing the people together in the best possible way. We were united in awe of all the lovely places people call their homes and kindness to each other. I will miss that!!!

I attempted to post a view from my window in the beginning not realizing the incredible worldwide reaction. Rather than keeping my post in queue, I became an eyewitness to a beautiful world through the eyes of so many in an unusually isolating time.

Sad to learn the VFMY Facebook page will no longer be active. Every posting brought a smile, as well as an uplifting every day. There has never been a view that did not send a message to the viewer. Thanks for the memories.
