Thank you so much for this wonderful window into our world. The armchair travel experience was so perfect and timely, especially during Covid. With all the horribleness in the world right now, this reminded us that the ordinary people really are the same worldwide.

Thank you for this site. In the world's biggest act of love, collectively, the entire planet retreated into our homes to keep each other safe. View From My Window enabled me to travel the globe to places I can only visit in my dreams. It also showed me how small our world truly is. Without political grandstanding and propaganda, we are all so much alike. We all love our families, and we all love each other. It's nice to be reminded of that from time to time.

When the group first started in 2020, I so enjoyed it and seeing everyone’s views from around the world. When my posting was accepted in April of 2020, it was great to be able to interact with so many people. In August of 2021, I had the opportunity to become a moderator of the group until the group closed on March 31, 2023. Those 19 months moderating were great. Seeing views and meeting new people from around the world that I was moderating with. The friendships will remain even after the group closes. Thanks so much!Dana Gaddis

The creator and admins of this group have given a priceless gift to those lucky enough to have found it. From the early days of the pandemic when so many were isolated to recent months when we could meet in person once again, this group has connected us all and given us hope. Every photo has brought joy and a sure knowledge that every person's view matters. I will never forget the thrill I felt when you allowed me to share the view from my window with the world. Thank you for having View from my Window. I remember watching this so much during the shut down pandemic. I still remember one afternoon all I did was scroll through all the wonderful pictures from all over the world, realizing we ALL were going through the same thing. It was a way to stay in touch and know we were not alone. Best of luck with whatever your coming endeavors are.
