VFMW is the quintessential example of being in the right place at the right time! Barbara probably never thought that her "little" idea to open up the world during the Covid lockdown would become the phenomenon that it is. How wonderful it has been to see everyone's views for these past three years. Brava!

This has been a beautiful experience! I will miss not having these posts each day, but I am happy that I was able to be a part of this community during this time. May we always appreciate these little glimpses into the lives of others!

Thank you! This group helped soothe my sad soul during quarantine. Particularly at the point when we realized it was going to be a very long quarantine, not just a few months. Seeing solidarity and support from all over the world, regardless of belief systems, was inspiring and heartwarming. This group made a difference! It meant the world to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

View From My Window was such a refreshing change of pace from the too frequent negativity of Facebook. I love to travel and this was my outlet for that yearning for the years when the world basically shut down. I shared this site with many friends who also enjoyed the opportunity to travel vicariously. Thank you to all who kept it going.

I have enjoyed seeing the world through other’s eyes immeasurably. The beauty of God’s creation is breathtaking. I am so very thankful to have been able to have had the opportunity to be part of this. I will miss seeing the world in this way.
