I posted my entry 5/19/20 in the early days of COVID. Just about everyday, I checked out the beautiful entires from near and far. This site and my dog helped me thru the deep dark days of COVID; as a nurse, I worked in bed management at a tertiary care hospital. Everyday we got calls from nearby large and smaller hospitals looking for an ICU bed for a COVID patient. My prayers for those who have died if Covid and their families.

Thank you for the memories. Thank you for accepting my picture. I am glad I saw your Kickstarter oh so long ago and got into this in the beginning. I love my books, my shoulder bag, my calendar and the world of Views from everyone's Windows. 8 April 2023. Thanks for helping make the worldwide Covid Pandemic Lockdown bearable.

Barbara, you changed the world. Your vision in dreaming up this amazing, unforgettable and boundary busting group provided me so much comfort during a frightening time for our world. There are not enough words of gratitude to you and your dedicated team of admins and mods for the thousands of hours given for us. I was a proud Kickstarter member and treasure BOTH books.

I have so thoroughly enjoyed seeing the entire world through other people's windows. What a wonderful and enchanting experience. Able to see literally thousands of places throughout the world that I would never otherwise be able to see. Thank you so much to the creator(s) and administrators of this wonderful website. View from My Window was a bright, shining light during the dark and lonely days of Covid. It connected people from all over the world in a new and fun way. When we could not travel literally, VFMW enabled us to travel figuratively. It opened our minds and hearts to new people, places and views. Thank you so very much for this gift! Can’t wait to receive my books and peruse the views all over again!
