VFMW holds a very special place in my heart! It was so important to experience a world-wide community of ordinary people all trying to lift each other up. The stories and photos were sometimes beautiful and other times stark, but I knew behind the lens was a person much like me, just trying to get though the uncharted territory of a pandemic. Thank you for all the effort it took to make this vision a reality ... y'all made the world a better, kinder, more connected place.

VFMW, was a wonderful point of connection and friendship for people all over the world. We shared fellowship, affirmation and encouragement, through this unique channel when worldwide lockdown kept us all isolated in our homes. I travelled far and wide through others windows and views, to many countries which I'll never visit physically. Our world was enhanced, our views expanded by the photos and testaments that the members shared. I will miss seeing the views, the ordinary and the outstanding. Many of these inspired me to poetic responses. I know that true connections have been made and will continue to blossom. The world keeps turning, seasons come and go as our lives have resumed some normality after Covid. Thank you VFMW, administrators and volunteers for all your time and the supreme effort you have given to your FB community members. My heartfelt thanks and blessing to each and everyone of you for the work you all did. 💞 🙏🙏🙏🙏💞

Thank you everybody for your windows to the world. I have so enjoyed the "traveling experience". I wish we can continue. I hope to actually go and see these places in person soon. Thank you to all of you. If any of you are ever in my part of the world, let's get together for coffee. I wish all of you lots of love. 🩵

I joined in Mach 2020 and have loved all the wonderful views around the world and am going to visit some of them. While this was to get people through lockdown due to Covid it helped me survive being a nurse during Covid. Thank you all for sharing your views.

Thank you for VFMW. I felt so connected to everyone. I felt like the photos helped open people’s hearts and minds to people in other countries. Everyone was always so positive and welcoming. Be well all. Here’s to a peaceful world. Xo Joy

A very deep and heartfelt thank you to Barbara for envisioning and creating the Facebook group & this website and to all of the admins and moderators, and to all involved with this effort. It truly brings into focus a community that is world wide. It brings pictures and nippets of people, their lives, and their environments to others with the undeniable result of bringing all of us humans closer together. Hopefully more people realize that we are all human, we all have the same basic traits and needs. My hope is that everyone has been touched by this effort by Barbara and all of the admins and moderators; I certainly have. I thank everyone for sharing and opening themselves and their life’s and wish all the best.

I know I'm not the only one who benefited from these postings during Covid. Not only did it give me/us something beautiful (and, yes, all were beautiful) to look at but it gave us something to think about. To look at others' homes made us realize that, hopefully, we're more alike than different, more loving than hateful, more caring than not. Thank you!
