I was intrigued by the pictures that suddenly turned up on my page & after just a few I joined. I've enjoyed seeing places from all over the world, and all the love that pours from it. What a treat this has been. Thank you so much!

Thank you Barbara and Team for an amazing journey! During COVID, I loved “traveling” the world through your page and reading people’s stories. I was reminded of how much we share in common despite living in different countries and cultures. Even after life resumed, I still enjoy seeing all these places every day. Be well, Karol

Que lástima no poder seguir compartiendo las vistas de mis compañeros de grupo, fue muy interesante compartir el lente de otras personas, así fuera solo un instante. Gracias por el libro

This group made the pandemic so much easier. It reminded me every day that we may live in humble or fabulous circumstances, but we all live here together. Together. On one earth. Together.

Thank you for helping reinforce that we are all neighbors regardless of where we live. The world is a much smaller and more beautiful place because we had VFMW.

I can't believe this group is ending its days. Thank you for the company in one of the lowest moments of my life. Always in my heart.

I’ve so enjoyed these views - not just during the pandemic but as a way to connect across the world and see how people live. For awhile I thought everyone had a stunning ocean or mountain view (except me!) but then we saw small gardens, streets and other houses, and more. All that matters is that we are safe and secure, wherever we are. Thanks for creating a way to share that.

The window world was spectacular, of course, but my heart belongs to the backyards with telephone wires and dog bowls, the laundry hanging from balconies, the roof tiles and chimney pots. Each photo like a novel we’ll never get to read. My eyes and heart were opened wide by the project and I am grateful to have been a very small part of it, with my photo of a damp morning in late fall: crape myrtles dropping leaves, a red geranium, a bird bath, and a simple fieldstone patio.

VFMW absolutely sustained me through the pandemic and gave me such a wonderful glimpse into the lives of people around the world. It was so much fun to see both how different we are and how similar we are. I know it was a huge effort, and I am extremely grateful for all the VFMW team did!

I found VFMW in the very beginning of the COVID lock down. The interesting pics from all over the world helped to get me thru the tedium of isolation. Thank you!

Loved this page. I always wanted to see the world, but it was never in the cards. Finally, at age 75, this page helped me to see the world I might never have seen. Thank you.

I joined the FB page almost immediately after it was started. It was something to look forward to during those first weeks and months of Covid. It’s amazing how this group could bring so many from around the world together peacefully.

I am bereft that VFMW is closing. As a homebound senior citizen, I have been blessed by "meeting" neighbors around the world. Thank you for sharing your photos and also, thanks to the administrators of the site.
