I enjoyed the delightful surprises every day, never knowing what charming or interesting or even confusing things I might see. I enjoyed feeling connected to so many places all over the world, feeling a little bit like I had friends everywhere. What I loved most what seeing how much we all have in common!

This group gave millions of us a sense of community. And the stories some told gave us a sense of shared humanity as well. This group opened us to views of places we'd never seen (or even knew existed). I will miss it.

I found the View from my Window during Covid…and it was a godsend. Whether it was the mountains, sea, gardens or down a street, each view was beautiful. And it gave me the opportunity to travel the world through the lens of my global neighbors.

Hello!This has been the best Facebook created in the times of covid. We traveled around the world with such sweet and positive messages. Views that we may have never seen otherwise. The commenters were kind and encouraging even when the person posting was hesitant about their views. Some of the most modest views were my absolute favorite.Pease, love, and hugs! Patricia

I joined this group in either March or April of 2020. I loved it immediately. The concept was and still is amazing. I applaud everyone involved with sustaining this group for as long as you have. I bought the first VFMW book and look through it marveling at everyone’s views. Thank you so much ❤️
