I loved VFMW and every view of the world and every personal story shared, since the beginning.
What I also truly appreciated was the policy for no negative comments and no politics, just people around the globe connecting and offering their unique view of our planet.

I was so glad to have found your group a few days after it started. Everyday I looked forward to seeing the latest posts. So many beautiful places in this world that I would never have seen. Thank you for all your hard work on this, you gave me hours of distraction during the awful pandemic.

I was so blessed to find your wonderful site. So enjoyed all the people who had shared their little spots was incredible. So much similarity of all parts of the world.
I got my Sister-in-law hooked too. I purchased both books and still go through them and find happiness in the beauty from different eyes and perspectives.
Maybe there will be a 3rd book…

I was honoured to have my picture of a Maple tree in autumn as viewed from my home office in Canada. This one picture received over 35,000 likes and 3,500 comments. The number "35" continued when someone in Kenya commented and asked where I was from. It turned out she was an international student in my city 3 decades ago. She coincidently was in the same college program I was in and we had a male student from Kenya as well. After just a few messages, we discovered she knows him and she reconnected me with him after 35 years. Since then, we have had several video calls with each other and I plan on visiting him in Kenya now that I am retired. I have now ordered your books and know mine did not make it in either volumes. I just wanted to share this story how your facebook community reconnected me with a friend on the other side of the world after 35 years. Thank you!

I was addicted to reading the comments as much as I was to soaking the view. It was like talking to all these people one to one . It really made me realise how small the whole world could be !

I've moved many times and each time I've had a unique view from my window. This gives me peace and a sense of stability. Finding this group, spontaneously, after just moving to yet another new view, I was delighted and entranced to see the thousands of kindred hearts.
