Great to be a part of this group.Thank you for your acceptance.
View from my window was a lovely way to stay connected to the world while we were all so isolated. Everyday I looked forward to seeing new posts, it was good to have something to look forward to. Well done to all who were involved.
During the time of COVID lockdown I so enjoyed visually traveling the world. I tried to imagine living in some the various locations. I was fortunate to be at a beach in Nicaragua and could go outside, but afraid to go to the city to shop. With each photo I would try to imagine the good and difficult times people were living at this moment . This united so many of us and I want to thank the creators.
This was a fantastic idea. It was a refreshing break
Many times the inspiring views that turned up here kept me aching to see such places. My view is nothing to record with a camera. However I am grateful to live where there is no enemy shooting at us. That seems to mean a lot these days. One day I hope I will be able to visit at least one place recorded on this page. Glad to find other people felt the same way. A remarkable concept this was.
A wonderful travel and views that were so beautiful and inspirational and personal. Loved every post. Made a huge difference to see the world beauty in everything around us. Thank you all who worked, posted, contributed. I will miss it for sure. ❤️❤️
Just thought about the photo from my window I posted , and realized that the group has been closed. Thank you for organizing all those, and thank everyone who ever left message to me on the post.
As a traveling travel agent, the lockdown was a dagger to my soul and the views available in the posted pictures kept me hopeful and kept me pushing to continue to travel regardless of the risks involved. If I was able to get on a plane, I did and the views seen in the project kept my wanderlust alive, my face smiling and my heart happy! Thank you for your efforts!
Thank you for the memorable opportunity to travel the world without leaving our homes and at the same time for keeping our sanities intact and healthy during the challenging time of COVID19. 🤗♥️
This…this was the most rewarding thing ever to appear online for us during the pandemic in 2020. You kept me entertained and at times sane, the calm of the different views from all around our world. Some from apartments high in the air to some below ground level by several feet, to rolling fields and oceans a many. From lake views to street views from your favorite window. This was the calm to my days of being kept away from our loved ones and grocery stores at first. You brought a new world to me in our time of need. Thank you again for all you have done and for continuing with this new adventure.
I did so love all of the Views and the stories. I have both of the books - they provide wonderful memories for me now and will in the future.
I can’t tell you the hours I enjoyed viewing all of your hard work from all of the pictures entered. My own was shown a couple of years ago, but since then.my partner passed..I moved…and life has been tumultuous. I was just looking at my book from you, and wondering why I never see any more posts. Now I know the answer. Thank you for the great distractions during a terrible world event!
Fond views and memories. Sad to see you go but definitely understand. Please inform if you devide to rise again.
Thank you to everyone who gave us a gaze into their world. We all made a difference for each other during the pandemic. After COVID, my husband and I went with our best friends to places around the world that were introduced to me here in View From My Window. May we all have peace and happiness and follow our dreams to go through the windows of the world! Much Love!
During the COVID-19 pandemic. The Facebook page A View from my window made isolating a little bit easier. Seeing the views from others around the world was definitely a treat. Feeling connected to so many others around the world was amazing. Thank you. I will truly miss this page.
I have to say out loud tha t”View” was my sanity all throughout Covid. My sense of normalcy and connection even if just story and photo.
Witnessing the aftermath and how the politics affected those “responsible adults” and how the politics fractured our country and drastically affected a whole generations, I so need the peace and tranquility that this touchstone you’ve created has been for me.Still finding my way in the aftermath,Abby
I am so sorry this page has closed! I loved seeing the posts from all over the world! I came here to order one of the books! Are they still available?
During the Covid 19 pandemic, this project expanded my world and put me in touch with humanity around the globe.
I am sad to hear about this wonderful profile shutting down! I had a beautiful view to post today and now I cannot post it. I hope someone will start a similar profile so we can all enjoy the views from around the world 🌎
Much love and Peace.
Amie S.
I loved this site. A wonderful experience to see places all over the world. Sharing their little corner on the planet. It was uplifting and somehow calming.
