I have only been a me.ber a few weeks and I absolutely love this group. So, so sad that it closing down.
Sending best wishes to you all, wherever you are in the world 🌎 x
When the world was forcibly locked down you gave us a chance to connect with each other again via this page. Thank you so much for allowing us all to experience a kinder, simpler way of looking at things ❤️
C'était fun cette rubrique FB. Une des bonnes choses que ce Covid a généré. Je vous ai rencontré à la librairie Filigranes à Bxl où vous m'avez signé vos 2 livres .
Que tout aille bien pour vous Barbara Duriau!

It’s been truly wonderful visually visiting different parts of the world. I’ve loved and lived every one of your photos. Thank you all! Xx
Have enjoyed seeing the world through all those eyes.
Have loved this site and travelled the world from my armchair to see places only the locals see.
I just want to remember.
Hello from Vancouver, WAshington!
View from My Window was my favorite page on FaceBook. I was honored to have my view posted on the site. Looking at all the amazing views from all over the world was a bright spot during the grim quarantine period. Thank you for this amazing gift!
This page will always have a special meaning to me and several of my friends. Our beloved friend Katia ❤️ , from the UK, passed away in april -19.
Her post on VFMW got published several weeks after she had died. It was really moving to suddenly see her publish something on Facebook, as if she was still alive.
The picture was the view on her tiny garden in Harlow, that she had discussed with us so many times before. It was really like a wink from her, somehow. Peace to all of you.
VFMW is my travel adventure to the world. Being a stay-at-home mom, I enjoyed visiting your gardens, back yards, front yards and even your neighbor's space. Interesting stories.
It’s been wonderful , the posts, pictures, the common wonderful threads we share. Thank you.
What an incredible group, during lockdown in particular the views from the windows some with heartbreaking stories of loss and isolation but always hope gave me hope too. I think without doubt this group is the very best of Facebook a community of humans who strove to remain in touch through pictures and words. Thank you to Barbara and the 50 volunteers what you created was pure magic I am grateful to have been a part of it x
Thank you for this page! It has brightened many of my darkest days.
This was always a lovely, uplifting page. Loved seeing peoples’ views from where they are and what a great escape, especially when we were all stuck at home. Thanks for this space!
I will miss this group! I traveled all around the world with each of your posts!!
This group was one of the most interesting that I belonged to, and expanded my opinion of the world. It was very positive communication and informative about different regions.
I have so enjoyed all the views, especially the ones that had various wildlife in it. Thank you for sharing your part of the world with us.
Thank you for bringing our world and people together ❤️
Live to see all the views that bring us together. I will miss yiu all!
