I posted the view from my window early in the lockdown, because it was so comforting to see the views being shared by others around the world while we all faced this strange and dangerous time together. Over the three years of VFMW I grew to feel that its gifts are many and it helps us understand this little planet is one neighborhood after all. I can never thank you, Barbara, enough.

VIEW FROM MY WINDOW opened my eyes to so many beautiful places around ether world during the pandemic of 2020 and after. I traveled to more places than I ever thought possible. Thanks to the creator of the page, all of the people that helped and all the contributors. I am forever grateful. 🙏♥️🥰

I joined recently and enjoyed all the views and people from countries I grew up learning they had a bad reputation. This site made my view bigger and opened up my eyes to learn the culture and lovely people from all over the world were just like me! I will miss it terribly.
