I so much enjoyed the photos I got to see daily on View From My Room. It made me realize how we are all one large community.

This was truly an amazing idea. Seeing glimpses into the everyday lives of people from all across a world. Thanks for bringing all 4 million of us together!!

I really miss VFMW. I enjoyed seeing how people lived. It brought brought people together by the simple idea that we are all different yet we are all the same.

This was one of my favorite groups. I loved visiting our world from someone else’s eyes!!

Thank you for creating the View from my window page for all of us to experience. I think the one thing we all learned from Covid lockdown, was that our dreary view we saw every day was someone else's paradise. Many of us didn't think that way before sharing our view. To those that looked out the window to only see a wall, a sea of rain and green, or dust and brown dirt, we never imagined that someone, somewhere in the world, wished they could visit a place just like what we saw every day. Then this page came along, and we finally got to see something picturesque, besides what we considered our bleak view. So thank you.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the VFMW community! Barbara, thank you for your brilliant idea at such a time as these. And thanks to all the administrators and members, you all have enriched my life with your beautiful pictures! I can still remember when my picture of my corner of the world was displayed on the VFMW wall! So much joy in my heart from such a simple action and yet it was profound. I am so sad to see this wonderful page close but I understand that I was a lot to manage. It lifted my spirits during covid and was something I looked forward to anytime I was on FB. What a extraordinary gift to be able to get a glimpse into the lives of folks lives all around the world. So many amazing views and lovely people. Alls the views were exceptional even tiny terraces that folks had transformed into their own little special oasis. Then there were those that had amazing mountain or ocean views or some lovely terrain in another country. I’ve enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for letting me be a part of this experience.
