Was a true highlight of Pandemic lockdown uncertainty. Loved seeing beautiful and basic ways we all see the world every day. It made me appreciate what I have and dream of millions of new places to visit. THANK YOU.

Thank you all so much for having offered us day after day these moments of wellbeing during this difficult Covid period! You deserve even more gratitude from us, the "visitors", who might have had no idea about the immense amount of work. Let me express the hope you recover from all the fatigue and go ahead in your new "old life" with nothing but good memories. Brigitte

This was an Amazing page/book which brought me much joy. At a time when the globe was in turmoil it was comforting to see ‘out the windows’ of others. Thank you to the entire team for bringing us all together in a loving and meaningful way. ❤️

I will miss VFMW. Thank you so much for all this hard work. I loved the opportunity to travel virtually into the lives of others. It reminded me of no matter where you live we are more alike than different.

VFMW helped us all connect at some level during a very unique time in the worlds history. It made us aware of others in places we maybe knew of and so many places we had never heard of. I grew to appreciate my view, a scraggly tree in great need of trimming, that changed through the seasons of life. That was bare and minimally active with birds to fully greened out and an abundance of life. VFMW was a life saver for so many of us and I’m happy to have been a part it. I thank the founder and moderators who gave so much during this time.

Quelle merveilleuse aventure! Durant ces longs mois de pandémie, VFMW était une fenêtre ouverte sur le monde. De ma fenêtre, j’ai pu accéder à des milliers de fenêtres partout dans le monde. Merci à tous. What a wonderful adventure! During these long months of pandemic, VFMW was a window on the world. From my window, I was able to access thousands of windows around the world. Thank you all.

My best friend, soul sister introduced my to VFMW. I am an avid traveller and to see photos from people's window from all over the world warmed my heart during a time I could not travel. I still felt connected. It even opened my eyes to places faraway I now want to visit. Thank-you.

You were a savior in a time where lives were lost and friends and family had lost their faith and hope. Depression set in, but we all had your posts to look forward to each and every day. How amazing was this!!! Thank you and your "helpers" for your endless support in a time of need. I understand you must go . . . go knowing you helped millions connect in such an uplifting adventure. God speed and thank you!!

I have so enjoyed ALL of your posts. Thank you for giving us a window into the lives of others. Some of the photos made me put those places on my bucket list. And some photos, along with their stories touched me deeply. I understand why VFMW is ending, but I will miss it so. Thank you, Barbara and all of your administrators and moderators for all your hard work.

Thank you to everyone who posted comments and shared your views. It’s been enlightening and entertaining for three years. I hope someone creates a forum of some type so that we can keep in touch. The world became much smaller with this Facebook page. And that was a great thing.

This group was an oasis during times of turmoil. Many times I cried, and many times I laughed, but always felt love in my heart for a group of strangers who felt just as I do. I will miss your views, but will relieve them by looking at my books . Much love sent to all.
