View from my window was a little bit of heaven bringing all walks of life across the world together. If only world leaders could take a leaf from their book

Thank you for bringing us a glimpse through thousands upon thousands of windows around the world during a time when we couldn't be there in reality. 🙂

VFMW, love it! It was a wonderful journey around the world. I enjoyed it so much. Especially in the beginning it helped me a lot. But seeing all the views around the world made me feel happier. And it felt like I was traveling. Thank you so much for the hard work you all behind the scenes of VFMW. Love you! Lots of gentle hugs 🤗🥰

This kept me hopeful during the pandemic and every day I would check the page. It made me feel like I’m not alone and that in spite of the many views across the world, we are connected — always. Thank you.

VFMW meant a lot to me during that weird and disturbing time of the lockdown in spring 2020. The photos and stories of people in the same situation helped to obtain the feeling that 'we were all in this together'. The first book is standing on my book shelves to not forget that period. Thank you for the idea and for all the effort you put in this project.

I have enjoyed every view on this sight since it started. What a wonderful way to connect to our global family. Thank you all for creating this site. My mom gifted me your book for Christmas 2020. She passed in 2021 due to complications from having had covid. Mom was 91. I will cherish it forever. ❤️

My Mom passed away early in the pandemic. The posts in View From My Window helped me get through the next years by lifting the sadness and loneliness, if just for a few moments. Thank you to those who started this project and kept it going, and to those who contributed their beautiful photos! ❤️

What a wonderful idea this was. A bright spot in my day whenever I viewed people’s pictures and read their stories. We are all so very much alike no matter where we live. I was excited my view was picked to go in volume 2. I have both books and will continue to enjoy the history of this unique journey. God bless Barbara and all the helpers for this treasured period of time.

Thank you to everyone who corresponded with me when I shared my view in Cornwall ; it was so exciting to receive messages from all over the globe. It was a wonderful idea and I am so sad it has to end. Thank you to everyone involved xx

Absolutely loved seeing photos from people’s windows both simple and breathtaking. Every one was lovely and every one told a story. Our world is beautiful and vast and varied. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. Romans 1:20
