I’ve loved seeing everyone’s pictures, not everyone can travel, covid or not, it’s such a shame no more contributions. I’ll enjoy them again through the website. Thank you!! X

This group was the touchstone to the world and an integral part of my life for so long. I eagerly awaited new entries every day and still look back on the photos abd comments through Facebook memories. Blessings to the administrators, contributors, and everyone who commented on the posts and who brought us all closer.

I joined as soon as I saw your fantastic group.
Covid had me shut in as it came out a month after I had major surgery requiring a year recovery. I was a huge fan immediately. Thank you for being here and opening my eyes to our World & kindred souls everywhere. I’m sorry you have had to Close this beautiful View.

Interestingly I discovered this group after the pandemic. I
never got to post any pictures but that didn’t matter as I enjoyed the posts and interactions from all over the world. I am sad to see the page is paused. Thanks to everyone who was part of the idea.

Thank you for all, your website was a special place, like a large home for all of us all over the world and the world was a bit smaller for the members of this group. A very though period of our life was less bad with the view from the windows, far in the distance, close to the hearts. Thanks to Barbara and all the administrators!

This group was the very best example of what social media should be. It made me smile on days, I really didn't have much to smile about. Our world is beautiful. The people around it, more so. Maybe a reunion page in 10 years?🤞 Would be fun to see what's changed. Much love, friends. Xo

Thank you Barbara and team for being the world together in an unique way during a tragic period of the world.
Thank you for choosing my photo to be included in Book 2.
It made me feel I contributed a little something and helped me feel a part of a very special tribe of people just trying to make it through the endless days of uncertainty.
All of our photos will be a reminder to the future that we never lost hope.

It is understood, of course, that these sites one day get too big and will end. Although I joined the group late, I absolutely loved every photo and the feelings that transpired from sharing a glimpse into the daily view of others around the world. It was intimate, eye opening, beautiful, joyful and exciting. What a lovely idea at the time of our isolation. Thank you Barbara. As an artist/poet, I wish you the best and great success with the exhibits and books. What an undertaking; you deserve it.
