I was introduced to VFMW by my sister-in-law way back in the early days of the group. I loved seeing all of the beautiful views from around the world. After some thought, I decided to post my very humble and simple view from my kitchen window and wrote a few words about what I saw in this view. Among the very kind comments was a simple hello from a lady in Paris. I told her it had been my life’s dream to visit Paris one day, and she invited me to friend her on FB. Three years later, we have become very dear friends; and we both say that this was one good that came from Covid and the shutdowns. We still haven’t met face to face, but we exchange tales about our families and travels, and medical issues, and just about everything. She graciously shares pictures of France with me, and I do the same for her over here in the states. I love my sweet friend, and I would not have this dear friendship if it wasn’t for VFMW. Thank you hardly seems enough to express my gratitude for all that you all did for all of us throughout the pandemic and beyond. Enjoy your time now; you deserve it!!

I am so grateful you created these beautiful books. They were inspirational, calming and reassuring that one day our lives as we had known them would return and that there is beauty in the entire world. They made us feel we would survive....and we did. Thank you

I loved View From My Window FB page. You got us through the worst of times by showing us that the world is still a beautiful place. A big thank you to the group’s administrators for a job well done and a world group hug good bye to you all. I will miss you.

I am privileged to have been part of this wonderful endeavor. It was comforting to see how others were living through and enduring the lockdown. All the photos were beautiful in their own way, and I thank you all for sharing this small part of your lives with me and the group. My only regret is that I ordered both volumes of the compilation, and now I see a 30% off offer! That would have been a nice perk for ALL members. Stay well, stay safe everyone!

You were such a beacon of light and hope when the world was dark. I cannot thank you enough for what you did during those dark times as it helped me make it through each day reading all of the words of inspiration and love from across the world to each other.

Thank you for all your hard work and your gift of the incredible views from everyone’s windows through this journey. This page saved my sanity and wanderlust during the pandemic. All the amazing places this world has to offer and to see them from this unique vantage point was priceless. I have both books too - treasures to enjoy. Take the time and rest you need. Job done well. Thank you!

I joined VFMW soon after it's inception back in March 2020. I have enjoyed "travelling" the world during a time when travel wasn't permitted. Thank you to everyone who posted a photo, so that we could travel to your part of the world. A big thank you especially to Barbara who came up with the idea & to the rest of the team for all your help to keep the dream alive. Keep safe everyone xx

There are not enough words to properly thank you all for what VFMW has given us all over the past three years. What a fantastic idea that evolved into a movement and enabled all of us to feel so much closer to each other and the rest of the world, no matter where we lived. Thank you x

VFMW made the whole difference in my life!! It was so awesome to see photos of places in the world I had never seen before, and also some I had visited. VFMW is also a very inspiring story for me & will always remember that group! (I have the first book at home.) Thank you, & all the best to all who made it possible!

A member from the beginning! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the VFMW community. Who could have guessed how many would be affected, and how helpful this would be. The heartbreaking stories, the stories that provided encouragement, all bringing us together to provide support and prove that there is kindness in this world. Congratulations to Barbara and the rest of the team! Best wishes to all!🥰

I have loved having this window on the world over the past three years. While the world was closed off in so many ways, this wonderful global sharing kept members feeling that they were still connected and able to travel, even if only virtually.I have both the books, and am grateful to everyone who participated in making it happen, and to those who shared their views.

Thank you to you and your team for the almighty effort you have put in to VFMW - I didn't send in a photo as my view is just houses across the road which would not be of interest to anyone, however one of those houses is the house I grew up in & my brother & his family now live in, so it means the world to me - thank you again, I just loved seeing the world through your page

Thank you to all that who made VFMW happen and carry on. It was such a bright spot in a challenging time. I purchased the first book as gifts for friends and family, so we would have positive memories of what the world went through.
