I have enjoyed every entry so much! They helped us get through an unknown. I love to travel so these posts made me feel I was in people’s homes and saw the world through their eyes. Thank all of you who posted and a big thank you to all of you who made it happen.

It was so beautiful to sit on my porch and share windows and views from porches and windows all over the world during the pandemic. Not everyone was able to feel the quiet holiness of the time the world slowed down together. Humans provided comfort and beauty and playfulness to each other thru the views from our windows during a time of great loss. I am thankful to all who made it possible.Bless all the windows in the world. May we remember the love we have in common.

What an honour it has been to be given so very many glimpses at personal views from homes all around the world at a time that COVID have ensured those views were even more valuable to those individuals. Even if the view was not stunning, there is always a story and to experience the world so uniquely when we were isolating, was an absolute blessing. Thank you for enriching our lives for the last 3 year, it's been an uplifting pleasure.

Congratulations Barbara for a brilliant idea and lots of hard work that brought so much joy to so many. You must be immensely proud of your achievement. I, for one have loved VFMW and from the simple to the luxurious views, at the very least they have been so,so interesting. Thank you for the pleasure you have brought to so many.

The pandemic didn't impact my life as much as it did many others, my work in home care continued much as ever, except always wearing a mask and gloves. But it felt really special to witness this initiative with views from all around the world, knowing that most of them also had to deal with everything connected to the pandemic. I bought the first book and it will always be a great memory!

VFMW opened up the world to me in an amazingly personal way. Seeing photos from all over the world stressed our shared humanity. May we one day live in a similar shared peace. Thanks for the memories, joy, and hope. Carmen

Thank you all for your actions in bringing the whole world together in a time of difficulty for us all, making us all realise that we were not alone although it felt that when we all had to stay at home

VFMW opened up a whole world for me and everyone in the group. I have loved seeing everyone’s views and reading their stories. Such a pivotal time in the world and such a difficult time it was so lovely to have something good come out of it. Thank you to everyone for sharing.

Thank you, Barbara, for your inspired idea to help connect people all over the world during the bizarre time of the pandemic lockdown. You, and your team, made an amazingly positive difference in our global community! It certainly helped me to feel hope in my heart during a very bleak & scary time. I never did post my own view from my window (I think I tried once, but it didn't go thru). However, I absolutely enjoyed seeing everyone else's views! And, even more, I liked reading people's stories, and people's comments. I also really liked being able to communicate my own messages of hope, support, encouragement and friendship to those people who did post their View. It was a blessing to feel a part of something so good and so positive! Heartfelt thanks & gratitude to all who participated in View From My Window!

I have moved 3 times since the start of the pandemic, so my own personal view from my window has changed many times. I shared my view from Lafayette, CA back in April 2020, one of my most cherished homes, and somehow VFMW has kept me tied to a view I miss! It has been amazing to travel the world and feel so connected. There is so much beauty in realizing how much we all have in common despite how different our views (and lives) may be.

Thank you for providing a bit of light during a very dark period for so many people. While many of the photos were absolutely gorgeous, others were profound in ways that I will never forget. Know that all your hard work made a difference to our lives.
