VFMW was a highlight to so many people! I particularly enjoyed your hard work behind it for keeping this page strict, clear and simple; just thank you from all my heart!

I miss VFMW. Thank you for a wonderful trip around the world during a difficult period with a lot of "lock in" (in France). Suffering from "covid long", I've still not recovered and travelling is getting difficult, but I'v already bought the souvenir book with 80 views so I still travel in my head. Love it.

View From My Window brought me immense joy during Covid and some not great events, including political discord, police brutality, repeated gun violence, and war. When I was disappointed and disillusioned with humanity, VFMW restored my faith in my fellow humans. Thanks to all who created, maintained, and contributed to VFMW. And, here's to better times ahead!

I was a latecomer to VFMW, so I really am sorry to see it end. The few months I knew it were so special. I can appreciate the time and effort it took to make it happen. Thank you for that.

Thank you for creating this marvelous site at a time when we were "locked out" from the rest of the world. You enabled us to do a little armchair travel and allowed us to see what our friends and neighbors around the world got to view from their windows to the world. I ordered the two books today (I certainly hope it is not too late). I will miss seeing all the posts as I am older and don't get to travel much any more. Take care of you and I am praying you have a blessed journey through life. I am praying the same for all those who got to "travel" and share their views with the rest of us. May God richly bless you all.

I remember the day I looked outside the window from my office room, and wanted to share my view of the yellow wildflowers, to contribute to the amazing VFMW community that I had found online. Especially when we were quite literally locked in our houses at the beginning of Corona, VFMW kept me entertained and engrossed, I became addicted to seeing how we humans lived, all over the globe. I am grateful for this worldwide community, and for all those who kept it going on the administrative end. You have shown us that we are all part of one big wonderful group of humans, more alike than different, and all of us worthy of a great life. Thank you, from Jerusalem, Israel.

Great job one and all. I was amazed of how we are all similar in our home lives.

Such a spiritually meaningful site that truly showed our shared humanity. I have the two books and read a few pages at bedtime every night. Thank you so very much. Deep peace to you.

I have been with VFMW from the early months in 2020. I feel deprived by its closure but fully understand that it has to come to an end ... like everthing else. It is truly unique, thank you for it Barbara from the bottom of my heart. And thank you all who worked, helped, contributed. Much love big hugs

Thank you. During the first year of Covid, we were living in our RV. It gave me such hope to know that there were so many of us out there looking for a connection. Now we are settling in Point Roberts, Washington. You did such a wonderful service to so many of us. Thank you, again.

It’s had to express how delightful n encouraging it was t see these glimpses of the world during the pandemic. The empty roads n highways were eerie, the views were wistful. All were a reminder that we were in his together And we would survive. So glad you created the books to commemorate this time together.

I had a wonderful time when I joined VFMW. Then, an opportunity came to be a Moderator. For 19 months, I was able to be part of an amazing team. We laughed, talked, had zoom meetings and worked on approving and declining photos from all over the world. We are still keeping in touch and will always remember our role as Moderators/Admins. Thank you Barbara, for this gift to the world. Sincerely, Patsy Scales
