A big Thanks to all the lovely people from all over the world for your views and stories. Especially in the early day’s in which we were all anxious of what would happen with COVID-19 this was a happy place to share photos and stories. And off course special thanks to the team who made it possible. Stay safe and healthy!!

I have loved View From My Window for three years. Every view, from the grandiose to the humble, was inspiring. And it made the world a little smaller; made us a family during a world pandemic. I have bought both book compilations and am able to enjoy the views again and again.Thank you so much for your vision. It was a great run! Enjoy some free time now! Haha.

I was a member of the group from the beginning, and I was immediately blown away by the variety of views. On reading the stories of people who were suffering in the pandemic and who took solace in their views, it was brought home to me the tragedy of a global pandemic. I'm so pleased I found you so early. Thank you ❤️

View From My Window was one of the highlights of the COVID pandemic. It made the world seem smaller, and somehow like we were all in it together. It was my escape from all the negative conversations, conspiracies, and political cacophony that surrounded me.

What started within a pandemic became a huge mental support to me. I was able to travel the world through the eyes of real people. The love and tolerance of the group made me feel being a part of the global community. I truly hope we can keep this spirit alive and pass it on to everyone who feels alone and isolated. Much love from Germany ❤️

Dear Barbara. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your inspiration, time, efforts and energy in initiating and producing this project. In looking at all the photos as they were posted, I noticed that so many views are similar, from Australia to South Africa, to Florida, Texas and California, there are many pools and patios. But above all, people appreciate a sense of spaciousness, of distance and sky, preferably with water, and greenery. In the absence of spaciousness, people go to cozy, compact gardens with lots of greenery, and flowers. I am amazed how many people manage to set up entire dining rooms and living rooms outdoors on a patio. Anyone thinking their outdoor space is unfinished or naked, only needs to scan these photos for simple ideas to create a sense of peace, their own happy place. There is something so mesmerizing about sunrises and sunsets that I saved and shared several hundred of them. (And what is it about the air in Rio and Sao Paolo that creates such dazzling neon skies?) Once I got over being seduced by the violet-indigo-red-orange-yellow skies, my eye became caught by patterns, shapes, shadows and colors, looking for the focal point of each picture. If there was only a brick wall, there were still shadows of fire escapes, lighting, rows of tile roofs, and patterns covering air conditioners. And we were not alone; there were herds of deer, mobs of kangaroos, elephants, horses, monkeys, cockatoos, parrots, hummingbirds and kookaburras came by for breakfast. Not to mention the regal cats staring into space, and the dogs alertly awaiting something, anything. Then I returned to the original premise of the project, the windows revealing a sliver of personal life. For we can all appreciate what we crave, the sameness and differences in what we see, during this Covid shutdown, in this plague year of 2020.---I saved two hundred of my favorite photos and shared them with my friends, but there have been eight that seem to me to be paintings of exceptional quality that I absolutely cherish, the epitome of the project, and I have attached them for your reference.‎Cristina Wuhrer‎, ITALIA- Lombardia -Brescia - MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Stephanie Ashton Walters‎, Huonville, Tasmania. I feel like I’ve made millions of new friends! Viewing homes and views from every corner of the globe has been eye opening. We all share life; we all enjoy our spaces, whether they are plain or grand. We are different yet we are all the same, reaching out to briefly share a piece of ourselves. It’s been wonderful “meeting “ so many of you. Thank you so much for this adventure!! Ciao, Adios, Au Renoir, Arriverdeci, Ta, Yasou, and Bye Bye

My favorite views were into my global neighbors’ back yards with the domestic or wild animals looking back. I wonder if they will remember the time when humans stayed safely home and gave nature back to them for a little while.

I was moved, often to tears, during the COVID years by the breathtaking, touching, awe-inspiring photos and commentaries of the VFMW participants worldwide. The poignant glimpses and artful entries into so many people's lives from everywhere created a chain of connection, respect and love that sustained all of us through those dire days. Thank you, VFMW team, for your selfless efforts on our behalf -- we will never forget. And thank you to all who participated. May our hands continue to be linked in friendship and peace.

I have loved being a part of VFMW and was here from the beginning and willingly invited and shared with many friends and family. When my photo was published and the comments and pictured flowed in , it sincerely warmed my heart. I loved the innocence of the connections around the world. I am forever grateful for your page and wish much happiness to the creator of this! I followed your frustrations and hate that you had to endure any negativity from it, but know that we all don't operate that way. I am grateful for you! You are beautiful and thank you for all you have done to keep it going. I understand your desire to move on. Happy travels!

I joined VFMW early in the pandemic and have loved looking at the sheer variety of photos and submitting my own one. Thank you so much for your tireless work, and for producing the two beautiful books, which I will always treasure. VFMW will be sorely missed!
